SENCO Training


I work with SENCOs at all stages of their journey, providing coaching sessions to allow the time to really think about how you would like to develop your department and delivering training around SEND law. 

I'm also an advocate of the "10 Minute EHCP request"!


Working together, we will create a safe space for reflection, creating your vision and developing actionable next steps for personal, professional and school improvement. 


The role of SENCO is essential in any school and one where the need to be adaptable, think on your feet and multi-tasking are always at the forefront of daily life. 


For new SENCOs, there is a huge amount to do; learning what the needs of the pupils and their families are, developing relationships with staff, liaison with external professionals and of course, seeking additional support and funding through EHCP needs assessment requests.  


For experienced SENCOs, there are the longer term, strategic pieces of work around developing provision, training staff and your own CPD.


SENCOs work with some of the most disadvantaged pupils in our schools, supporting families often through challenging times. Work with me and we will find creative solutions to help meet your and your pupils' needs.
